The past weekend has been a rather busy one as I brought my cousin studying at anderson jc together with the new indonesian maid out ito the city area for a simple tourist-y orienetation .. the event on that day was Canon Photomarathon 2012 which cost each pax $10 coming with a free black-and-red canon t-shirt as well as freebies such as a bunch of showgirls for photoshoots and unlimited redbull drinks.. deterred by all that sweet stuff the three of us went to places that offered lush greenery such as hortpark a stone throw from the venue marina bay sands and unfortunately or fortunately it began pouring by lunchtime.
As the three of us are on a strict vegan diet the challenge of finding good and delicious vegan lunchtime food brought us along over to 190 Middle Road #01-07 Fortune Centre where my virtual office is located and at Gokui Vegetarian Restaurant we ordered Dum Briyani Teh Tarik Tea’o and Sambal Fried Rice and the total damage was $20.50 a lot cheaper than the restaurant-ish Herbivore that serves western and japanese vegan meals nextdoor.
This morning I decided to check out Clifford Colour Centre at Blk 532 Ang Mo Kio Ave 10 #01-2459 Singapore 560532 — the maid has inherited from dunno where a traditional photo album and she would like to have some photos developed in paper format instead of the digital prints for her collection — surprisingly the outlet has modernised significantly and i spent 10 minutes interacting with a Kodak machine choosing the prints and uploading the jpeg files until moments later a middle-age lady kindly came out of hiding and went through the bill payment at her counter..
